Nina Yuen was born in Hawaii in 1981. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University in 2003. Her work has been shown internationally and throughout North America in institutions such as the Rijksakademie, the Total Museum, the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art, and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.

Mike Rollo (b. 1977) was born and raised in the flatlands of Saskatchewan. He currently resides in Montreal pursuing his discipline as filmmaker and photographer. A founding member of the Double Negative Collective, Rollo promotes and practices experimental approaches and concepts in cinema. Mike holds a MFA in Studio Arts from Concordia University where he currently teaches film production.

Jason Halprin is a filmmaker, curator, and writer currently based in Chicago, Illinois, where he teaches at Columbia College. He grew up in a small ranching town in Southern Colorado and earned degrees from CU-Boulder and UW-Milwaukee.

Neely Goniodsky graduated from Concordia University with a BFA in Film Animation. Interested in innovative development in mixed media filmmaking, she integrates traditional animation with photography and collage in vibrant, fleeting cinematographic sentences. Goniodsky is currently in pre-production on her next work.

Acting as a couple for a minimalist play rehearsal, two actors decided to perpetuate the love game outside the theater. By dint of playing, they gradually surround themselves with a cloud of ambiguity.
Born in Amiqui, Québec, Jean-Guillaune Bastien studied film at Concordia University, where he directed many shorts films including Le photomaton, which screened at Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois in 2007. Les acteurs amoureux screened at Regard sur le court métrage of Saguenay and was selected for enRoute, the Air Canada Student Film Festival.

Mike Rollo (né 1977) provient des terres plaines de Saskatchewan. Il habite présentement à Montréal pour- suivant ses pratiques artistiques en cinéma ainsi qu'en photographie. Étant membre fondateur du Collectif Double négatif, Rollo promeut et pratique les approches techniques ainsi que les concepts expérimentaux en cinéma. Mike possède une maîtrise en arts plastiques de l’Université Concordia, là où il enseigne la production cinématographique.

Jason Halprin est cinéaste, commissaire et écrivain de Chicago. Il a grandi dans une petite ville entourée de ranchs au sud du Colorado et a été diplômé de l’Université de Colorado à Boulder et de l’Université Milwaukee. Il enseigne à Columbia College en Illinois.

L’artiste BLU, originaire de Bologne, est reconnu pour ses murales gigantesques, surréelles et agressives, effectuées dans des lieux publiques. Il crée aussi des animations à partir de ses dessins. Ses oeuvres sont rarement accompagnées d’explications ou de commentaires.

Neely Goniodsky est diplômée de l’Université Concordia en animation. Elle s’intéresse à la recherche et au développement de méthodes de production innovatrices aux techniques mixtes. À l’animation traditionnelle, elle intègre la photographie ainsi que la texture afin de créer des phrases cinématographiques fugitives. Neely est actuellement en pleine recherche et expérimentation, elle prépare une production indépendante.

Interprétant un couple lors de répétitions d’une pièce de théâtre minimaliste, deux acteurs décident de perpétuer le jeu amoureux à l’extérieur de la scène. À force de jouer, l’ambiguïté s’installe entre eux.
Né à Amqui (Québec), Jean-Guillaume Bastien a étudié en cinéma à l’Université Concordia, où il a réalisé plusieurs courts métrages, dont « Le photomaton » , présenté aux Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois en 2007. Son film « Les acteurs amoureux » a été sélectionné dans plusieurs festivals, dont Regard sur le court métrage au Saguenay ainsi que le Festival du film étudiant du magazine enRoute. Actuellement, il demeure actif dans la réalisation de courts métrages.
